Dr. Himani Joshi is a smart, vivacious and joyous dental and maxillofacial surgeon who performs all surgical procedures of patients visiting Chiranjeevi Kidney & Multispecialty clinic. Trained from some of the best institutes of the nation, she has a vast academic and clinical experience of dealing with dental problems. She specializes in jaw fractures, cysts, tumors and other diseases of the jaw and the jaw joint (temporo-mandibular joint). Difficult cases of dental implants are also her expertise. She is also an ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support – American College of Surgeons) provider and instructor and trains students and fellow colleagues how to handle emergency trauma cases so that they are life and organ saving.
She was the topper of Gujarat State in SSC examination, topper (AIR 6, Gujarat Rank 1) in NEET PG entrance examination, topper at AIIMS Senior Residency examination (Rank 1 for 1 seat). Dr. Himani has made her own way from a small town called Vapi (Gujarat) to New Delhi. Now, she is a counsellor and guide to many students throughout India & Nepal who wish to understand career options in Dentistry or want to excel in various entrance examinations. Dr. Himani has been an author of popular dental post-graduation entrance examination books like Current Dental Examinations (CDE-2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019 editions) and Review of Examinations in Dentistry (RED- I & II- 2020, 2021). She is involved in active classroom teaching and conducts various academic and clinical courses for BDS students, MDS aspirants and Oral Surgeons. She also takes active interest in implant training.
She is a fighter & a winner, yet grounded to her roots & values. An excellent clinician and academician, Dr. Himani has also helped initiate and complete many Government projects including ones of National Oral Health Mission. Now, after 11 years of practice in government institutes & hospitals, she has started practice at Chiranjeevi Kidney & Multispecialty Clinic’s Dental OPD. She is married to Dr. Anant Joshi, Nephrologist and renal transplant physician and they have two kids.
