Gum Recession Surgeries & Gum Grafting

Long-time deposition of tartar and calculus (stony hard deposits containing bacteria) around the teeth push the gums down. This causes bleeding from gums, mobility of teeth, bad breath and progresses to pyorrhoea. This is a serious gum disease that requires opening up of gums by surgery, removing all superficial and deep calculus deposits and stitching the gums back to their normal position. Bone grafts may be placed beneath the gums if adequate bone support is lacking. Healing is accompanied by gum paints and medicaments and this restores gum health in the best possible manner. Our Periodontist (gum specialist), again an AIIMS Delhi alumnus is an expert in handling the most difficult cases of gum recession and had great results at her credit.
