Step 1 : Scrubbing and Cleaning of instruments

After use, all instruments are cleaned thoroughly with soap and water till all visible debris is removed. It is done by our well-trained support staff.

Step 2 : Chemical disinfection

Korsolex Rapid is a glutaraldehyde based instrument disinfection concentrate that is used in the clinic for step 2. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses and spores. Visibly cleaned instruments are dipped in a 5% solution of this liquid for 2-3 hours before washing and moving to step 3.

Step 3 : Thermal Ultrasonic cleaning

Ultrasonic vibrations along with heat (60 degree Celsius) is used in a separate chamber to re-clean the stuck impurities from the instruments and be double sure of the cleaning process.

Step 4 : Drying

All instruments are dried with clean towels before packing.

Step 5 : Packing

Sterilization pouches or sterile surgical boxes and drums are used to pack the dried instruments before the final step.

Step 6 : Autoclaving

Steam under pressure is the final blow to disease causing bacteria, fungi, viruses, spores and even prion particles. We are proud to have Woson 23L class B autoclave that matches international standards of sterilization and ensures patient safety.
